Sam is an expanded functions dental assistant who began working for Gerda Family Dental in 2021. In his role, he places restorative fillings and temporary crowns and helps organize the office. He enjoys working with the dental team at Gerda, hearing stories from his patients, and restoring teeth to their natural, beautiful aesthetic. Sam attended Sinclair Community College for his dentistry training, and holds certifications in coronal polishing, sealants, CPR, and x-rays. He was inspired to go into dentistry from his grandmother, who has worked in the industry for over 30 years. 

When not working, Sam enjoys going to the gym and participating in sports such as softball and kickball. Someday he would love to travel to the major cities in Europe and experience their culture and food. Sam wants patients to know that “your best smile starts at the dental office.”
