Dr. Gerda (Gerdalinde Gatmaitan), D.D.S.

Dr. Gerda became a part of Gerda Family Dental in December of 2021, but has worked as a dentist since she earned her D.D.S. from the University of the East College of Dentistry in 1994. She completed a General Practice Residency from the Ohio State University in 2010, and was a Chief for General Practice Residency at the Ohio State University from 2009-2010. She continues her education through her memberships in the SPEAR Study Club, Spectrum Study Club and American Academy of Facial Esthetics membership. Dr. Gerda chose to go into dentistry because she enjoys making a difference in people’s lives, and she now loves her role at Gerda Family Dental because her team creates an environment that is nurturing, familiar and clean. One of her life goals is to always empower her team to become the best versions of themselves.

When not working, Dr. Gerda enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and making new memories with her family. An approachable, caring dentist who is always in high heels, Dr. Gerda says that “Over the years that I have been practicing dentistry, I always believe in building relationships with my patients and their family. My team thrives to create an environment which is nurturing, familiar, welcoming, warm, approachable, and caring. We believe in making a difference in someone’s life through their smile.”
