Daleesa is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) who became a part of Gerda Family Dental in 2022. Her job responsibilities include working in the lab and ensuring that nervous patients are comfortable during their visits. What she loves most about her work at Gerda Family Dental is the staff’s energy and the ability to make patients smile and see tears of joy. With her EFDA degree from Sinclair Community College in 2021, CDA from CODA, and DA from Ohio Business College in 2014, Daleesa’s passion for dentistry started in high school.

Outside of work, Daleesa spends quality time with her 4 children, 2 girls, and 2 boys. She dreams of visiting Africa to explore her roots and learn more about her culture. Daleesa’s favorite quote is “Be Gentle, Teeth have Fillings too.”
